Rocky's Roses

Below are pictures from a rose bush that I received last May from Ron & Bonnie Shuping in memory of Rocky. It actually made it through the summer and winter in its original container as I did not put it in the ground until this March. Thankfully it seems to be liking its location. It is a carpet rose with beautiful peach blossoms. Rocky would probably have preferred bright orange but for a rose, this is probably as close as it will get. :-)

What beautiful roses! It's so special to have some flowers in remembrance of Rocky.

I've heard that roses can be a little difficult to grow, so I haven't attempted them yet, but I'd love to have an arbor someday with roses covering it. You'll have to let me know if you acquire any tips for success.
