"You don't let anyone suffer alone." This is a quote in a Washington Post article about the D.C. Metro train crash that occurred this past June. It struck me. A military chaplain who was involved in the crash recalled this quote that was spoken to him during his training, as he stayed beside a young mother until rescuers came, who unfortunately could not save her.
